RMRCC CUT SLIDE FOR GLOCK® 43

RMRCC CUT SLIDE FOR GLOCK® 43 Reviews & Ratings

There are multiple benefits to having a red-dot sight on your dedicated carry gun, including fast, easy sight alignment and a system capable of providing a clear, bright aiming point during low-light encounters. However, some of today's popular CCW guns just can't accommodate an RDS. Brownells is closing the gap with its RMRcc Cut Slide designed for the Glock®G43.

Based on our ""Front Cut"" slide we designed originally for the Glock®G43, this RMRcc Cut Slide includes serrations at the front and rear of the slide for easy manipulation, which is a big help when you're fighting against the stiff recoil spring inside this compact 9mm. Just behind the ejection port, though, you'll see a cutout that's tailor-made to accept the Trijicon RMRcc red-dot sight. When you're not using a red-dot sight, the slide includes a cover plate with a dovetail designed to accept all standard Glock®rear sights, and a slot at the front of the slide is compatible with Glock's front-sight tenon.

Each Brownells RMRcc Cut Slide is machined from 17-4 stainless steel billet and treated with a matte-black Nitride finish. Internally, the dimensions are identical to Glock's OEM slides, so you can put factory Glock®parts into the slide in order to build your complete gun.

Note: this RMRcc Cut Slide includes the slide only. Consumers are responsible for either retaining the factory barrel and slide internals or finding new components to finish the slide. This slide does not require the use of a firing-pin channel liner. Does not include screws.

Brownells Glock 43 slide with RMRcc cut
Great item !! I purchased the Trijicon RMRcc in August of 2023 to find out its footprint is larger (longer) than most micro red dots on the market. To mount it on a slimline pistol the adapter plate is thicker , so the red dot will sit on top of the slide instead of the milled out area. I purchased the Brownells slide, because its cut for that footprint with the addition of the zev style post for extra support so i could keep the original slide in its condition. I purchased the Glock OEM upper parts kit to build the slide. After reading several reviews about burrs on their slide when I received it , it was inspected carefully. Everything on it was excellent except I did notice a burr inside the Extractor Depressor Plunger channel. It appeared to be from where the screw hole was tapped on the right side above the channel. Using a 9/64 drill bit , only turning the bit with your fingers it removed the burr in seconds. I lightly oiled all internal parts before assembly and everything went together with ease. I fired the first 50 rounds through it using the iron sights ,then mounted the red dot and fired another 50 rounds through it and the slide has worked flawless. It only has 100 rounds total at this point , but I dont see any problems with this purchase what so ever. Great job Brownells !!!

Worked perfectly with my G43x lower, no issues!
Nice fit and finish. Used Strike Industries completion kit and Silencer Co threaded barrel, worked flawlessly together. I find it easier to have a complete separate slide that I can quickly swap and use with the suppressor. Overall, pretty happy with the purchase at the current sale price!

Just as I expected!
This is my forth Brownells slide for the Glock platform, currently own two for the G17 and one G19 and now the 43. My first three have substantial range time with no difficulties . Because the RMRcc has a unique footprint I was surprised to see this addition here. I also want to mention that I like the use of the Zev style posts for optic mounting. The finish seems well done and all machining/milling looks well smooth, edges are rather sharp and this one follows the same blocky look as the larger models, a Brownells thing. Unlike the full size slides the 43 does not use a firing pin channel liner so you might want to run a cleaning brush through it before assembly. To sum it up they are a good value, solid performers made in USA and backed by a lifetime warranty.

No screws
Slide is solid and fits the rmrcc. However the plunger assembly does not really fit due to burring I assume. Finally got it in but had to force it into place. DOES NOT COME WITH RMR SCREWS. Had to track down what size screw and spend additionally 20 dollars ordering the right screws from elsewhere.

No Sight For Cut Slide
I have purchased 2 red dot sights for this slide and neither fits! I called the Help Desk and was told the Holosun 507c would fit the slide. I purchased the sight, received it and it does not fit! Frustrated to say the least!

Does not work with all RMRcc cut optics.
Went to Cabela’s and Gun Store neither of their optics that were RMRcc cut optics will fit on this slide. If I knew I would have to buy a Trijicon only to work with this RMRcc cut slide I would have bought an uncut one and had it milled to fit the optic I wanted. Slide milling and optic are as much as a $600 Trijicon RMRcc.

Out of Spec
Slide arrived with surface rust in the optic mounting holes and other small finish scratches. Upon assembly attempt with the Brownells slide parts kit, the trigger safety plunger did not fully seat. Also, the extractor plunger wouldnt go past the area under the optic mount hole as there were burrs from drilling blocking the channel. Tried OEM parts and the extractor plunger still wouldnt install; however, the OEM trigger safety plunger fully seated. QC needs to step up. Thankful for Brownells great return policy.
