The Brownells RMR Cut Glock®34 Slide is machined entirely from heat treated stainless steel and features a black-nitride finish to protect it from corrosion and wear. The Brownells RMR cut slide features OEM style rear serrations and additional front serrations for enhanced manipulation. The RMR cut slide also features a window cut on the top between the front serrations that reduces weight.

The machining on the Brownells RMR Cut Glock®34 Slide doesn't end there; the slide also features a cutout sized to fit a Trijicon RMR red-dot sight as well as the Holosun HE508T, HS507C, and HS407C, allowing for fast, easy target acquisition. Internally, the slide is machined to Glock®factory specs, so it'll accept all standard G34 components.

Channel liner required for these slides. Channel liners are a press fit and require a tool to install.

Stuck firing pin
The hole in the breech face where the firing pin sticks out is machined improperly. This caused my firing pin to get stuck. Not realizing what was wrong, I racked it hard a few times before figuring it out and having to remove the slide with violent force. This caused obvious premature wear to a brand new cruciform. I probably should have sent it back immediately, but I already took the finish off and polished it to a matte stainless finish, so obviously a return was out of the question. It was my own stupid fault for not dry fitting everything before I took the finish off, I know. But this is a Glock, not a competition 1911. I've never had to hand fit Glock parts, so the thought never crossed my mind. After filing the sides of the firing pin, it now fits and functions properly. I'm hoping a few thousand rounds peens the inside of the channel into spec before I swap out a new firing pin and new trigger components. All things considered, it's still a good deal, but remember to test fit and function check everything as soon as you get it in case you have to exchange it.
