This slide fits perfectly. My Holosum 507c fits perfectly into the cut.
G26 RMR Slide by Brownells
First, I read some reviews. One review rated the slide 1 because the channel liner didn't install correctly. Newsflash, G26 does not have a channel liner. Assumption, trying to install a channel liner the User more than likely damaged the firing pin channel. Onto my review: All parts installed on this slide were Glock OEM. Assembly was staight forward, just like it would be when using an OEM G26 slide. First time at the range, I had two failures to feed. I purchased an after market barrel for this slide. So, I removed it and intalled a Glock 26 OEM barrel and the problem solved. I wouldn't use an aftermarket barrel if this is being used as a EDC, go with the OEM barrel. I would recommend this.
Very Impressed
Nice fit and finish; no tool marks or burrs. All my original gen 3 parts dropped right in. Holosun 407c fit perfect with the screws provided. Had to add suppressor sights to allow for co-witness. So far 1K rounds and flawless function. The only two minor cons are the color is very black and doesn't match the gen 3 color; and the cut of the slide makes for a tight fit in a kydex holster - it fits, but it's noticable. I have a Brownell optic ready slide on my G19 as well and like it too.

LOVE IT
Works great. It looks stubby being on a 26 with a Holosun 507c V2 and the +2 pierce grip extenders. A buddy though it was a G30(45acp). I swapped all parts from the OEM slide, minus the sights, threw the red do on it and went to try it out. I had to slightly adjust right at 10 yds and then commenced shooting 6 mags(72 rounds) through it and no issues whatsoever. Sweet lil shooter

I haven't shot with it yet but am confident that it will preform as it should. I like the looks of the slide and all the side components fit as they should. It is well worth the money. I will have to save my $$ for another for my P80 19. I have confidence when purchasing from Brownells.

very good DIY slide
I have a Glock 27 this slide will add a true 9mm competitive capability. The machining of the slide is excellent no sharp edges or burrs and it is just smooth. The black nitride finish is even and smooth. I built it with a True Precision threaded barrel and Glock OEM internal parts. Everything fits and functions perfectly. The main reason I choose this slide is for the RMR cut on which I installed a Holosun HS407 red dot sight. As you can see from the photo she is a neat little beauty for competitive shooting, target practice, home defense, and of course a show-off piece at the range. Most shooters choose to customize the full-size Glock but I think a customized baby Glock is kind of unique.

This was my first time assembling a new slide (though I have stripped out everything but the channel liner to clean a slide). It couldn't have been easier. This slide and the Glock slide completion kit Brownell's sells plus a channel liner tool (to install it) is all you need. The slide had no burrs or other imperfections I could find and after over 600 rounds through it I have not encountered any problems at all and the finish is still perfect. Things do not usually go this well. The only "not perfect fit" I had was that the "sealing plate" that goes under the Trijucon RMR when you install it had to be adjusted the smallest amount. It has two holes that the raised screw tubes (for lack of another word) on top of this slide go through. The plate holes had to ever so slightly be enlarged for the plate to slip down smoothly. (I stuck a small triangular file lengthwise through the holes and spun a few times - the edges of the file faces were enough.) The other thing I would note is that on the web some say the channel liner is already installed despite what the Brownell's site says. So right after I assembled the striker assembly I put it into the striker channel. It seemed tight so I thought that the liner was already installed. But I went ahead and gently tried to insert the channel liner and it started to go in with no undue effort. So don't assume the channel liner is already installed. In my case it was not but I could see how someone might think it was.

I highly recommend this slide for your G26 or P80 build! I ordered this slide for my G26, then soon after built my P80. All my factory glock parts fit this slide perfectly. Fit and finish is fantastic!
