Glock® pistols are used by individuals and agencies all over the world due to their reliable performance under pressure and in difficult conditions. The Brownells RMR Slide for Glock®19® Gen4 further improves the shooter's ability to operate the slide and aim accurately under those conditions. It features distinctive, wraparound front cocking serrations that aid in manipulating the slide to check the chamber or clear a jam. And we'll be honest: the serrations just look cool, too! The RMR Slide for Glock®19® Gen4 has a built-in mount for the popular Trijicon RMR red dot sight and certain Holosun sights (see list below), enabling shooters to get on-target faster and more easily than they can with standard pistol sights. But don't worry - it includes factory front and rear sight cuts for backup "iron" sights. (With an RMR installed, you will need to install suppressor-height iron sights for proper co-witnessing.) You can get your RMR Slide with a "window" cutout on top between the front serrations (so they don't wrap on this one) that enhances airflow to keep the barrel cooler - ideal for hard-working action competition pistols. Plus, if you have an upgraded barrel with a contrasting finish or fluting, spirals, "flames," or another unique exterior pattern, the window helps your gun stand out from the sea of matte black on the firing line.

Each RMR Slide for Gen4 Glock® 19 starts life as a billet of 17-4 stainless steel that is machined to Glock® factory specifications inside, so it’ll fit factory frames and accept factory or aftermarket barrels and Gen4 internal parts. The tough, non-reflective, Black Nitride finish resists surface scuffs and scratches. An RMR slide is an excellent upgrade for transforming your Glock® 19 from an excellent off-the-shelf pistol into to the best handgun you've ever shot! Known Issue [Solution]

A lot of people who purchased this product (and similar Brownells Glock slides) have stated they experienced consisted ejection issues. I was experiencing this issue as well, and was worried the money I spent on 4 separare Brownells slides were wasted. Luckily I found the solution... if not already done, you should change out your Gen3 ejector for a Gen4 or Gen5 ejector. Please be aware, I'm NOT saying to replace the extractor. I went through multiple extractors without any improvements. The ejector is the small piece of bent metal protruding from the trigger housing that knocks the spent casing away. Not being a moving part I did not assume that would change anything, which is why I neglected to replace it sooner. But it made a world of difference. You can usually get an OEM Glock Gen4/Gen5 ejector from some sites for $10-15 with the trigger housing, but you don't need to replace the whole housing. Look online for HowTo videos on replacing the ejector on its own. It takes about 5 minutes at most.

Perfect Fit for G19 Gen 4.

All of my original slide parts fit into this slide. I did install a new channel liner with the tool. There is a metal ridge inside the firing pin wall that may look like a channel liner. It is not. Make sure to install a channel liner.

Fit and finish were spot on! At first I wasn't sure about the relief cut in the top of the slide but it grew on me fast. Topped it off with a 507c red dot, 150 rounds so far and works great.

It passed safety check!

This slide was my second attempt to build an upper for my G19. I initially ordered one from Midway that after 4 attempts would not allow the firing pin to fall and subsequently “lock up” with the trigger stuck in the rearward position. Sent it back and after doing some searching I discovered Brownells offered their RMR cut version with several excellent reviews. Took 15 minutes to install the build kit and functions fine. Wish I had bought from Brownells the first time, it would have saved me a major headache! It’s winter here in WY so probably get to put any rounds through it for a while. But fit and function so far is great and I foresee no problems. Thanks Brownells!
