Good fit, easy to install
This blank fits snuggly into Marlin 336 barrel without being so tight that it's difficult to install. Perfect fit!

Good product
The product is good, but between the processing time and the shipping with the post office it took two weeks to get it. I’m not happy about that at all next time I’ll shop at Amazon.

Excellent Product
These dovetail slot blanks are truly the gold standard ,have been using them on customers firearms for 40 yrs, As with all dovetail type sights they have to be fitted period, so many firearms have been brought to my shop that have ruined dovetail slots because people think they are a drop in fit and just try to drive them in or use a sight pusher thinking that will do it Manufacture's make their sights slightly oversize to accommodate variations in tolerances ,regard less of the sight manufacturer Tru Glo, Trijicon etc they all need to be fit

Dovetail Blank
Expected to have to do some minor file work, but none was needed. replaced rear ladder ramp sight with Skinner Peep sight. Fit in nice & tight on my 1894 Winchester. Well done!

Marble`s Little Marvel
I bought this to blank off the open back sight dovetail on my Uberti High Wall, having gone to a tang peep sight. Slightly larger than the dovetail, better that than loose. I used 400 7 600 emery to take some metal from the base to give a force fit.

Perfect fit, great value
Just got it installed on my JM Marlin 1895 45-70. You need to fit it as the details say but it is very easy. I used a fine triangle file to trim it slightly, then a stone to polish the edges. I trimmed it until I could push it in nearly half way, then used a plastic sight pusher along with a hammer to tap it in the rest of the way. Only take a few strokes on each side and then try to fit it in the dovetail. You'll need the tension to secure it. If you take too much off you'll be buying another peace; tough to add metal back on... Entire process took me maybe 15 mins. Definitely worth the value and looks good.
