Left Handed
If you are left handed and using an AR15 it's kind of a pain that the safety can't be easily switched to fire are back to safe. This reversable safety makes it a whole lot easier to do as installed on the left it's just right to use your thumb to use the safety.
Just what i was looking for
Being left handed this is exactly what I was looking for. Installation was quick and simple. And it actually feels better than the original one.

This original Colt reversible safety is such a great addition to my featureless California legal AR15. It makes it much more functional and in my opinion much safer as it is on the same side as my thumb when using a CA legal fin/paddle pistol grip. I didn't really want a ambidextrous safety and this satisfied my interest. Plus I can change to left or right at any time. *Note* The is lever is slightly different than standard. It extends to the center of the safety circle instead on the edge of it as seen in the picture.
Strong, Simple and East to Install
This good quality item was very easy to install and had a tight fit to the lower. The only drawback is that there is no tickmark on the non lever side. Otherwise feels solid and strong. This item works great in combination with a Strike Industries Megafin grip, that has the thumb rest or any other grip that comes with a Thumb rest for California Compliant featureless rifles.
Must have for lefthanded shooters

The real deal
Exact same configuration as issue. For ex-military folks, and with years behind an M4, this safety feels right at home. This differs from earlier US Military safeties is that the actual engagement pad is longer, but not extended. The raised portion goes farther up onto the safety drum/cylinder. The detent portions and the track are exactly mated to a Milspec safety detent, and the manipulation is crisp without wobble. Truly a superior part IMO.
Quality
This semi-auto selector is the ONLY one that has the quality/feel i want. Same as the Colt select fire variant. NONE of the aftermarket semi-auto parts kits selectors have the tight fit and feel of this part. No slop or mushy feel with this one. Replace your parts kit junker with this one and be happy!
