Great Sight

Installed this sight on a Mossberg 500. Even though it says its for a Remington 870. The sight is adjusted with shims, so it can fit many different shotgun barrels. Looks great and works really well with the Mossberg rear ghost ring sight.

Works Good.

I think this is a great part for someone that doesn't have a local gunsmith to solder on a front sight to the barrel. it's a great alternative and it works well just double check your outer diameter of your barrel before purchasing and you should be in good shape.

May be a great product but.............!

I purchased one of these to try out, thinking that I could use them on my Remington 1100's & 870 shotguns because the product description states that it will fit Remington 1187, 1100 & 870 shotguns, but it doesn't fit the OEM Remington barrels I have at all. I have five 1100's & three 870's they all have barrel diameters of .835" to .850" O.D. but the package the sight came in clearly states; "fits .880 to .895 O.D. barrels", it would have been nice for Brownell's to include this bit of information in the product specs! Now I have to either make shims for the sight or return it and look for something else.
