New Gun
Love how adjustable the stock is, changed butt end for limbsaver recoil pad, shorted overal length by.5” and put the 0 height cheek piece on. Also put a Triggertech primary trigger on, went from 6lb stock to 2.5lb. The 7 rem mag is ready to go.

Awesome Upgrade
Bought this for my 24" barrel 700 ADL in 7mm Remington Magnum I purchased used in 1978. Bagged many elk and mulies with this rifle, it is my all time favorite. The one thing I never liked was not having the ability to use a magazine with the old ADL, but this stock with the Hunter 700L Magnum Magwell transformed it into the rifle I always wanted. Install was simple (needed to trim the rear receiver bolt a bit), and now I am completely satisfied. It is a bit heavier than the OEM wood stock, but not by much. Adjustable LoP is great, and after also mounting a Burris Fullfield IV 2.5-10x42mm scope on it, this thing will be used and passed down for many generations. It is dead on inside any humane harvesting distance. Highly recommended!

Magpul Hunter 700 L Stock & Magazine insert
Happy with product
As advertised!
This is a great replacement stock, and was very easy to install. I had a Nightforce scope mounted on my rifle, but with the rings and picatinny rail, the cheek weld on the original stock was too low. This stock has a higher cheek pad, and is almost perfect. The recoil pad absorbs the recoil of the shot beautifully. My only concern was that the stock is not drilled for a sling mount, but it is dimpled in the appropriate locations for mounts to be attached. All in all, I'm very pleased with the stock.
Nice stock for an old 700.
Installation of the stock was straightforward with the included instructions. I installed it on my remington 7mm mag which had the basic black remington stock on it. Took the rifle out and shot it at 100yd the next day, didn't notice any change in point of impact. I think it really improved the way the rifle handles. The stock is the perfect stock for shooters like me where the rifle is mostly used for hunting whitetail deer and very rarely target shooting. It allows me to get a semi-adjustable stock for a good price.
Quality Stock
I purchased this stock to replace a factory plastic stock on a Remington 700 ADL in 30.06. The Remington has a TImney trigger installed and required removing a section form the interior of the Remington stock to properly fit with the Timney trigger. In turn, the Magpul stock required a corresponding section of the aluminum chassis be removed to allow installation of the barrel and action with this trigger. This was easily performed with a Dremel tool. Once completed, bolt up was simple and secure. The Magpul stock comes with length of pull spacers and they are easily installed. The barrel is completely free floated and the recoil pad appears perfect for the job. Also installed was the Magpul trigger guard and magazine well. Again, installation was easy and function testing with dummy rounds prove the magazine functioned as expected, both feeding and extracting perfectly. I have not yet had a chance to fire since installation, but foresee no issues.
Nice
Easy drop in. Lots of accessories
Poor design.
Screws sent were too long and the cheek piece had to removed to remove the bolt. This is a real pain when breaking in a Christensen Arms barrel
