Good Product
Fit and finish were great. It dropped right in my Colt Govt. model.

Fits perfect
A friend purchased a Kimber Rapide 9mm. Being a new gun enthusiast he did not clean the gun prior to bringing it shooting. New gun, cold oil prevented things from working as expected. Disassrmbled for cleaning and upon reassembly, cold fingers and stiff parts resulted in launching the plug into the forest. Brownells had this one in my hands days later. Perfect fit and good color match. Could not be happier.

Just what I was looking for
Looks great, drop in replacement. Just what I wanted to replace an old worn part, and finish the build.

Plug, (1) SS
My new Remington R1 has a SS barrel & bushing but a blue recoil spring plug. The pistol looks "unfinished" to my eye. This solves the issue. Thank you Ed Brown for seeing fit to make this part. Thanks to Brownells for the price.
4
Nicely machined
I was hoping this would replace the painful plug on my Citadel 9 mm 1911. I attempted some custom fitting until I realized it simply wasn't going to work. I think the other Ed Brown on on here would have worked fine. It seemed nicely machined and checkered. My main purpose for this review is to help someone else out with the same gun to not order this particular one. (I did not ask tech support here before ordering, a mistake I rarely make)

Not as shiny as I wanted.
This a very good plug. It fits perfectly and looks nice. I would have wanted it shinier. Still good for the price.
4
Looks good but needs some work
I used this to dress up my 1911 when I swapped my barrel bushing from blued to stainless. The fit is perfect and it looks good. The rear end of it was left rough cut. The wire edge was almost sharp enough to cut. I used a case reamer but some 500 grit should clean it up nicely.
3
Not "drop-in"
Not a drop-in proposition on my Kimber. Fitting was required to enlarge the hole for the guide rod. The machining is well-executed, though.
2
Poor fit
Ed Brown Recoil Spring Plug for a Colt Gold Cup Trophy and it does not seat under barrel bushing properly.
