The Spuhr QDP Mount is an extremely sturdy one-piece scope mount that clamps directly to any MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny receiver rail or base. It combines the rock-solid stability of Spuhr’s proven Ideal Scope Mounting System (ISMS) with easy-to-operate quick-release levers that let you attach and remove the Spuhr QDP Mount from your rifle with the mount and the scope as a single unit. The Spuhr QDP Mount has 45-degree split rings designed so the bulkiest part of the rings is not in your line of sight of the scope turrets. Another innovation is a bubble level built into the base to help you make sure the rifle is perfectly level, helping you control another important variable in long-range shooting.

Rock solid and easiest mounting ever.

Good price from Brownells. Fast shipping. The best mount available for QD. No loss of zero with an upper tier scope. One $4k scope shared among three rifles instead of three $1300 scopes makes sense to me.

Outstanding Mount, If You Can Afford It

I purchased this mount to run on my SCAR-20 and still have ready access to iron sights. For those that dont know, SCARs are known for having brutal harmonics that quickly damage less rugged optics and mounts. After about 500 rounds through my current set up, this mount has been outstanding. It is incredibly easy to level/install optics in their rings with the included tool, and my scope has always returned to zero despite some major temperature swings. The only downside to this optic is the price tag and the weight. (Additionally, specific to the SCAR you will need to purchase an angled charging handle) If you can afford it and need a durable and high quality QD mount, this is the way to go.
