Actual official weights
The trigger weights work as needed to verify minimum trigger weights for Precision (Bullseye) pistol including .22, Center Fire, .45 wad cutter and Service Pistol for NRA and CMP competitions. It will not provide actual weights in pounds, ounces, or grams, but will let you know if your competition pistols make the required minimum weights. These are the same weights as used by NRA and CMP officials.

Great system to measure trigger pull. Helpful to check digital system's accuracy.
Limited
The gauge is used to test trigger pull against a specific trigger pull weight. For example, 3 pounds or four pounds. It is not used for determining the trigger pull weight of a given trigger. You have trouble determining how exact trigger pull of a specific trigger especially if the trigger pull is below 500 grams so the gauge cannot measure it n 8-16 ounce trigger pull. You simply say that it is less than 500 grams.

A quality set of weights
I use weights primarily for handguns, but occasionally rifles. I was disappointed in my choice of this set and should have spent more to get the Armorers/Shop set. I tried to save a buck and ended up disappointed. Since I don't deal with NRA and International standards I do not like the grams and ounces/pound mix of weights. That, and the fact that I need heavier weights to start with on some guns and the weights aren't even available.
Weights
I use this to weigh my pistol and rifle triggers for NRA/CMP events. It is much more accurate than pull type gauges though depending on what your target weight is it might take a little longer to setup. For competition sake, I adjust my triggers to break a little above the target weight. This is to compensate for different factors to include wear and the judges NRA weight set. One absolute item to check for before you grab this and use it is to make sure the threaded rod and nut are TIGHT, if it isn't then all your weights will rotate and dump off possibly causing damage or injury. The weights are blued steel so a light coat of oil will keep the rust off.
High quality, resolution is limited.
Good quality weight set, although one of the weights was badly stamped with the weight and is barely visible. Also I don't understand why some weights are stamped in grams and others in pounds. I would rather have them all in one system - I would actually prefer all in grams over a mixed selection. Another issue is the limited resolution, I would rather have a set of weights that allows me to get with a few ounces, rather than +/- 1/2 LB! Despite a video I saw that claimed the Wheeler electronic scale was not accurate I was able to obtain results that were pretty equivalent, so I will stick with the wheeler.
Mixer weights
Some of the weights are marked in U.S. and some of them are in metric. What good is that when trigger pull here is measured in lbs. and oz.?
Use of official trigger weight impossible for sporter air rifle
Trigger pull for sporter air rifle is 1.5 pounds. There exists no mechanism with the included weights to achieve the ability to measure 1.5 pounds. It doesn't measure that low. The base (the only weight tapped for the rods) is 500 Gm (slightly over 1 pound) and the smallest weight included is 1/2 pound. If the 1/2 pound mass is added to the 500 Gm mass you are already over 1.5 pounds. Since the rule book states only weights are acceptable for conclusive determination of a trigger passing or failing (no electronic or spring gauges) this product is not able to perform this function.
