Saves hours of polishing, grinding, shaping - parts can be made to exact dimensions before heat treating without fear of dimension change from scaling, pitting, decarb loss. Extremely simple to use - for both hardening or annealing. Heat the work piece to about 500° F., coat with the dry compound powder, finish heating to temperature, and quench/cool as required. Parts come clean in boiling water. SPECS: 1 lb. (454 g). Not for steels that harden above
1650° F.

not bad

pros it does it job an you dont have to wait too long for heat treat cons when using a kiting oven move quickly because you have to do both side under 30sec tip dump some into a tray an flip it in a trey it was my first time an i brush it on an by the time i flip it it was not hot enough an putting it back burn alittle off the first side the wet version is easier but u wait like 24 hours
