Work great in 38/low power .357
Burn clean, worked every time so far. I don't see the problem. Used them with 38 special with loads up to +p and lighter "lead" 357 loads with tite group and 231. I've used over 1000.

AAA+++
They run great through my reloader. Few and far between restocks. Get ‘em when you can. Work great.

No problems yet
I ordered 1000 of the Aguila small pistol primers. I've loaded over half of them in both .357 magnum and 38 special using 3 different shell manufacturers. I've fired over 150 rounds so far. They were purchased in October of 2022. I have not experienced any of the seating difficulties or detonation failures that others have. I have read that the housings are softer than some other common primers. I would agree since I have deformed maybe 3 or 4 while seating them. I now seat them individually on my press since that allows me to use extra care in lining them up which solved the problem. I would not use a system with a hopper as I'm afraid that a chain reaction could occur if one detonated while being deformed. I approach Federal primers the same way as I find them softer than say CCI's. The good news is that softer primers require a lighter strike to ignite. Oh, as always, please where ear and eye protection whenever seating primers.
