Great sling
I already had one of these slings in the 1" width. I was wishing that I had purchased the 1.25". Now I'll put this on my heavier rifle and the old one on my new, lighter rifle. Love the simplicity.

Simple, Functional and Well-Made
I purchased this sling because I wanted something that was simple yet functional. I didn't want anything fancy or "tactical" because I'm not all that, yet this sling turned out to not only be good looking and well-made, it has also helped me greatly with holding my rifle more securely and steadier on target. Highly reccommended!

Have 4
I bought one Montana sling and when I received it and put it on my Remington Long range .25-06, I bought 3 more. This is the most comfortable sling I have ever used. I have been hunting for 48 yrs. There is no metal snaps or screws to remove in order to adjust it, just slide the knot up or down where ever its comfortable for you and it stays in place. Amazing!! I carried my rifle for 5 days on a New Mexico Mule deer hunt like a suit case. A lot more comfortable than on your shoulder. Im ordering one more as a Christmas present for my hunting partner, I caught him trying mine out for size, lol.

Sturdy, functional, good looking
I liked this the moment i took it out of the package. Its a very nice satin black, not shiny. The sling swivels are sturdy and solid as well. The leather is thick, but not too thick, just right. This sling looks right at home on my Tikka and I can see ordering one for another rifle. All the reviews seemed very supportive of this sling and I now see why.

Excellent Product
For those that use a sling for more than a carrying strap, the Montana Sling is a great option. The transition from a short length (for carrying) to an extended one (for sling-supported firing positions) only takes a few seconds. It's quick, comfortable, and far less complicated than traditional competition-style slings. Additionally, the leather is high quality, and the Uncle Mike's QD swivels that are included function as expected.

Exceptional sling!!
This is the best hunting sling I've ever purchased. It remains tight after adjustment and works almost as good as a competition sling. If your still good with a leather sling, this is the ticket.

Will buy more
Just received yesterday and wish I would have found out about these slings a long time age. Very sturdy and well made. Most unique adjustment system I've ever seen. Works great. Note-Picture shows sling with chicago screws, the sling I received had the swivels sewn in. No metal at all on the sling except for the swivels. I like this product a lot.

I buy this product for all my rifles
I have Montana Slings on all my hunting rifles. Easy to use and all leather, looks and performs great. I've had several types or makes of slings before, this is the best hands down. I highly recommend Montana Slings to all my hunting buddies.

Bulky sling
Sling is too bulky. Maybe should have gotten the 1" model. The swivels aren't very sturdy and started squeaking when carrying. Nice workmanship though and I like the name, but ended up replacing it with a new loop sling.

not long enough
I was disappointed in this sling. This song isn't long enough, the sliding knot used for adjustment is very bulky, and the edges of the leather aren't dyed.
