Forward connection point for push-button sling swivels mounts directly to Magpul Original Equipment handguards and forends. Simply remove the handguard, center the MSA over desired accessory hole, and tighten two bolts into the anchor nuts for a rattle-free hold. Requires drilling to slightly enlarge MOE slot so it clears the QD post. Low-profile, anti-snag design maximizes usable grip space, and limited-rotation feature keeps sling strap from twisting. Precision-cast, durable steel is case-hardened and coated with Melonite^® for extreme resistance to wear and corrosion.

Very good, except for drilling tool

I attached this sling attachment to my Sig M-400 Enhanced (Magpul MOE furniture). The drilling tool is a pain to use, because it dulls quickly. However, with patience and a little bit of time I was able to drill the installation hole. Once the attachment was in place, it is extremely sturdy and works very well, just as other Magpul products. By the way, the "yellow stuff) on the screws is a screw locking compound and should not be removed.

Bad parts, buyer beware

I am a huge fan of Magpul's products. My rifle is festooned with MOE furniture and it all works magnificently. This product is the exception. When it arrived, one of the two screws had its threads clogged with some sort of yellow crusted adhesive that had to be chemically dissolved then chipped out with a blade. But I was at least able to overcome that issue. Worse was the fact that, unbeknownst to me, you have to use an included tool to drill through your MOE handguard to install this device. I chucked the supplied tool into my drill and began work... which promptly caused the supplied tool to dull and round off to uselessness well before it had gotten through the plastic. Now my MOE handguard is defaced and the mount doesn't work anyway. DO NOT BUY THIS.

You have to drill out our hand guard to install this. I spent 20 minutes trying to drill out the Magpul guard with the supplied bit. No luck. Si I don't have this installed and can't unless I go buy a different quality bit that works. This SUCKS!
