Very light, and perfect size.
Very happy with this grip, Moe one should be without it, unless you don't have a Moe of course. I've used other grips and this is my favorite, but seriously if you have a Moe forend and want to get a grip, this is a great way to put a handle on it.
All-Around Excellence
While there are aspects of the MVG that someone might wish tweaked - a different texture here, perhaps, or a slight recontour there - in the end there's really nothing to complain about on this piece. It fills the hand without overwhelming it, finds a good balance between comfort and contollability, is fairly easy to install, and is molded to meld with the bottom of the guard. The MOE mounting system is on the way out, of course, but it works well, and Magpul's dense polymers keep the unit strong despite its low cost and light weight. An all-around winner.
Durable Vertical Grip
Be careful not to purchase this if using a railed handguard. This is for Magpul MOE rails. Easy to install. Great product. Durable and lightweight!

This VG not only sets the standard for durable and perfect fit and finish...its actually affordable. Have it on my issued SBR and both personal rifles. removed two Knights Armorment VG's and added these. perfect length doesnt extend past my palm and top is shaped perfect for that forward thumb on rail grip

Terrible Screw included
The grip appears well made; the problem is the screw. I managed to strip it completely smooth with hand tools and took a long time to get back out. I get that it's not an expensive product, but it's sad that I have to get my own hardware to install. They should have simply not included it if they wanted to save cost that badly. Also, make sure you have a long hex or a screwdriver with one; the type they say to use won't be long enough.
