CCI Mini Mag
Great ammunition. Probably the best time available
CCI CPRN 40 gr
HAVE USED BEFORE , RELIABLE AND 100% WORKS IN NEW WEAPON , DUE TO BETTER PRIMER , CLEAN BURNING .
Consistent and reliable
Love this ammo, whenever I have problems with ammo, always switch to CCI to work kinks out.
Always
Most reliable 22lr ammo i use comes from cci. 40 gr mini mag has enough umph to cycle semi auto handguns reliably.. glock 44 in particular. 10 22 will cycle with less.. as will my revolver... but this works with everything. My sons and I find the limit on most semis to be 1150 fps..low limit. Very few misfires with cci compared to other brands. Win etc. Cprn keeps the ramps etc cleaner..most notably in the revolver in front of the cylinder.. and in the ruger mark. Always buy when I can.. hunt plink varmint nice all around.
Excellent Ammunition
This ammunition is high quality, and very reliable in all of my .22 rifles and handguns. It cycles perpetually through my Custom Ruger 10/22, and my Browning Buck Mark Camper Pistol. I chronographed these through all of my .22s. They averaged 1,205 fps from the 20" Kidd barrel on my 10/22, 1,209 fps from the original 18 1/2" Ruger barrel, 1,237 fps from my Charles Daly with 22" barrel, 1,046 fps from my Browning Buck Mark with 5 1/2" barrel, and 775 fps from my 1 1/8" barreled North American Arms Mini Revolver. While not as accurate as the match grade ammunition I shoot in my rifles, this ammunition does, still, shoot very well.
Goes bang, everytime!
CCI mini-mag .22lr is my most trusted choice in .22lr ammo. I have never had a FTF, or FTE in any of my .22 caliber weapons. This is something that I cannot say about many of the other Name Brand manufacturers. I try whenever I can to maintain a respectable stock pile of this round. It just works! Walther P22 (known to be a finicky eater), Walther PPQ Tactical, Glock 44, Colt 1911 Rail Gun -.22lr, Walther MP5/22, Chiappa Firearms 22-10, Ruger 10/22 breakdown rifle, and Henry Golden Boy Lever action all run terrific with this ammo. It is the only .22 lr ammo that I can count on to go bang everytime. So far, so good! But I have only been shooting since I was 18. Now, 44 years later, I cannot name many brands of .22lr that can claim this feat. Perhaps someone with more experience can say otherwise. As for me, this is my "Go To Round" for all my .22 lr weapons. That is, when I can get it! Dr. T.. Ph.D, D.D.
Ready For The Range
This ammo was purchased for a 1980s vintage Smith & Wesson Model 41. Extensive pre-purchase research disclosed that CCI works best in a Model 41. Then the .22 LR "Standard Velocity" is the best product line. However, I discussed my decision with several LEOs and they recommend and use the "Mini Mags" (40 grain), and have assured me that there will not being any damage to my Model 41. I chose the CPRN to avoid "leading" in the barrel. The CV-19 pandemic has prevented me from testing this product at the range.
