MATCH PRECISION OPTIC™ (MPO) 1-8X24MM RIFLE SCOPE DUPLEX RETICLE Reviews & Ratings
Does it compare to Razor Gen II-E? So-so
TAKEAWAY: Got MPO Euro 1-8 for *under* half cost of Razor II-E 1-6. (Performance/Cost) ratio matters! MPO Euro is light (22.7oz = II-E+0.75!), bright, tad large, comes w/ spring-flip caps, throw lever, Brownells warranty. GREAT BARGAIN (for what I paid). But not "magical" like Razor Gen II-E. Mailing this to C_DOES for proper eval. ---- GOOD/BAD: Nice glass. Good zoom. Great 0.1 MRAD turrets. Daylight bright fiber dot, 85% of II-E max. (MPO bright #6-0 doesn't splash wire like II-E #11-9 does.) Much tighter eyebox than Razor (as to be expected). Duplex reticle subtensions not listed (but not really needed). --- UGLY: MPO Euro 1x is slightly magnified 1.25x. 2-eye-open strains eyes! Scope body in view quite large, obscures situational awareness. Razor doesn't, so II-E 6x "feels like" MPO 8x due to better FOV. (See photos.) ---- USES: Best suited for Fixed-distance use [target practice] or Don'tCare-distance [hunting/visual ID]. Not suitable for tactical requiring holdover [longrange] or situational awareness [2/3-gun].
Decent
Well built, duplex is a little to fine for a tactical scope and when illuminated it looks more like a red dot.
