ABSOLUTELY no fitting required.
Couple of things: Website says match grade and some fitting may be required. Product package says drop-in fit. My experience with new Brownells slide and this barrel was a sloppy fit. Compared to a used Glock 19 gen 5, the barrel and slide fitment was MUCH tighter on an oem parts vs the Brownells slide and barrel It has noticable forward and backward movement and side to side play in the hood. The barrel out in to the used g19 mentioned above, was not any tighter fitting then the matching used OEM barrel. The extra play will probably make it more reliable I guess. I can see why Brownells did this, most fudds would reee at getting a barrel that wouldn't drop in so instead of angry fudds they have to make something that will work for everyone. Also the Brownells slide is a loose fit with KKM, OEM, and ZEV barrels. That plus this barrel didn't help the overall looseness.
