Our Match-Grade Barrel for the Glock® 21 is a premium barrel machined from hardened 416R stainless steel to precise dimensions, so it delivers a tight lockup that helps ensure superb accuracy. It's a drop-in fit to most guns, too. And the extra-hard Black Nitride finish resists surface wear and stops in its tracks whatever corrosion might try to challenge the stainless steel. This .45 ACP chambered barrel is button-rifled with standard, 1-10" right-hand, 6-groove rifling that is compatible with the non-jacketed bullets of inexpensive "practice" ammo. You can get your match barrel for Glock® 21 with either a Plain muzzle or Threaded (.578"-28 tpi) to enable installation of a compensator or sound suppressor. Both have an 11-degree target crown, and each is laser engraved with the chambering and the Glock® model it fits.

Exactly What I Needed

I “inherited” my Glock 21 SF from a friend, but I was dreading the cost of shooting it. I knew I couldn’t use any of the 14,000+ rounds of .45 ammo I already have on hand that’s loaded with 225 gr. lead round nose bullets that I’d assembled to be a hardball equivalent. At least I couldn’t use that ammo in this Glock with its factory barrel. I was delighted to find that Brownell’s has match grade Glock barrels manufactured with conventional button rifling. And the price was very reasonable. After a tiny bit of handfitting, the gun shoots like a dream. It's actually more accurate now than it was with the stock barrel firing jacketed bullets! I had considered spending the extra money to buy the Wilson Combat barrel, but judging from my past experience with Brownells' parts, I bought yours instead. And I couldn't be happier.
