MARKSMAN V4 SLIDE FOR GEN 3 G21

MARKSMAN V4 SLIDE FOR GEN 3 G21 Reviews & Ratings

In the world of Glock®customization, the Glock®G21 seems to get short-shrift, since everything's made for either the 9mm or .40 S&W variants of popular Glock®handguns. Fans of the big-bore .45 ACP are left in the dust with their OEM models, but the Marksman V4 Slide designed for use in Gen 3 models of the G21 allows owners of these guns to step up with a clean, custom look. Each Marksman V4 G21 Slide is machined from 416 stainless steel in order to ensure long-lasting performance, and the rear of the slide is milled to accept a Trijicon RMR or a Holosun 507 red-dot sight. The slide is finished with a DLC PVD treatment, and other highlights include enhanced serrations for more positive manipulation of the slide, as well as a clean, attractive finish. The Marksman V4 G21 Slide is designed for use on Gen 3 Glock®G21s or P80 PF45 handgun frames only.

Wouldn't recommend
Purchased two slides, and have issues with both. The first one is out of spec. The area where the extractor sits was not cut completely/correctly so I had to modify the extractor so it would sit flush to fit and function correctly. The second slide arrived with a nasty gash in the finish, to the bare metal (see pic), so I tried to disguise it using a sharpie. These cost me more than an OEM slide and I definitely didn't get what I paid for. Contacted Brownells customer service and they couldn't provide me a good solution, so I kept them.

Looks great but fit is a different story
For the large p80 frame this is the nicest slide I could find was a little steep on price but loved the look, that being said after trying to install it the tolerances are so tight its been not so great on the fit and thats a shame for the price tag. So if your interested in this slide be prepared to work longer at getting the internal parts installed if you have done other builds it definitely doesnt go together as other slides I have assembled. Hopefully I have gotten a bad one and no one else has this problem its definitely a disappointment.

Looks good but not specd as advertised
I bought both the V4 and RMR. The slide is cutout for an RMR, specifically a trijicon. I spent a lot of money for both and the RMR will not fit in the cutout without some serious hammering, which i wont do. The finish on the sight will damage. Im disappointed.
