Best/Easiest Chrono I've ever used!
I've been shooting for over 15 years and I've used just about every chronograph made. Caldwell's, Oehler, Competition Electronics, LabRadar, etc. Nothing has beaten the combination of consistency and ease of use that the Magnetospeed. Just a little bit to adjust the correct spacers and Voila! It doesn't move, never has the wrong light, too much light, not enough light. No shooting through it or being fixed to one spot. The readout is intuitive and thorough, just gives you everything you need to analyze your load parameters. I never leave for the range without it. If I'm packing a firearm, I'm packing the V3, too. You should as well.
Replaced an old PACT unit with this...
I have had mine now for over a year and it has worked FLAWLESS!. Very happy with the unit. Properly set up per the detailed instructions you will never miss a shot, nor have near by shooters "Trip" your chronograph from muzzle blast. I like the compact size and ease of set up. No more waiting for the line to clear to adjust or set up/down. Easy to read the data on the screens with lots of options. Unit sits within reach and doesn't take up any more room than a box of Ammo. A quick tip: I have numbered all of the barrel "shims" and keep a note book inside the case. Each time I record data on a new firearm, I record the number stacking sequence of the shims in order to make using it the next time with that particular gun very fast. Also just be sure to securely tighten the barrel strap and it wont move. Mine stays put each and every time properly installed and tightened.

Great product it always gives a speed no matter what the conditions. I use it to developed my loads for shooting long range. The way it attaches to the barrel, it has fallen/been blasted off because it loosens up. If you remember to tighten every 5 shots or so no problems
