right tool for the job

This is part of a set that I use every day I have been a gun Smith for 21 years and these are the best bits I have ever used.

Received in good order as promised... The bit is exactly as described and is perfect for the use I bought it for...

Replacement Magna-Tip super set bit.

Appears to be an exact replacement for the bit I abused to destruction.

Well made & tough bits

These bits and hollow ground, fit screw slots well if the right size is selected and do not cam out of the slots. I grind these bits (width and thickness) to exactly fit the slots when necessary.

Your selection of available bit sizes ... Ain't what it used to be.

These "Magna-Tip Bits" were bought for the sole purpose of being ground and polished to fit specific size slotted screws. Unfortunately the number of available bit sizes is considerably less than what Brownells used to carry. Particularly in regards to the slot thickness. Which equates to more grinding.
