MAGAZINE CORKSCREW TOOL Reviews & Ratings

The Brownells Shotgun Magazine Corkscrew safely removes shotgun magazine spring retainers as easy as popping a cork on a bottle. This handy tool easily threads into popular pump and semi-auto shotgun magazine spring retainers and has been designed to put an end to "flying" springs and bent retainers. The Shotgun Magazine Corkscrew is an indispensable tool for your shop or tool kit.

Perfect for 1960s Remington Wingmaster Spring Retainer
Ordered it Saturday, and it arrived Wednesday. The tool worked perfectly to get the spring retainer out of the magazine tube. I actually came across this tool in a video Brownells' has on their YouTube channel; so double thank you to Brownells.
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Excellent tool for removing magazine spring retainers
An excellent tool for safely removing magazine spring retainers like in the newer 870s. Works like a corkscrew in a wine bottle, so you don't have to try to pry the magazine spring retainers out without the screwdriver slipping and stabbing yourself or the launching retainer and spring into your face or across the room.as easy as popping a cork on a bottle. This tool may not be used daily, but then most of a gunsmith's special tool aren't.

Useful tool
I never knew this tool existed and its much easier than trying to pry your magazine retainer out with a screwdriver. Useful on the Old retention system on a Remington 870 as well as other shotguns. You dont have to take your magazine tube apart every time you shoot but its a good idea to clean out the tube periodically and lubricate the tube, spring and follower. Brownells sells many interesting tools that make firearms maintenance much easier. Thank you Brownells.

The Good and The Not So Good
PERFECT TOOL FOR THE JOB. Better if it had a slip or a removable T-handle. The fixed T-handle required unnecessary barrel removal. I pressed the roll pin out, now its a perfect tool again.
