M16 Phosphate Bolt Carrier Group MP C158

The staking was well done....The carrier group works like a champ... didn't need to make any adjustments. I'm going to get another one for another rifle of mine.

M16 bolt carrier

Fits and functions ok! Firing pin .0001 too long, but that might be error in my depth micrometer, or me using a Colt bolt instead of the one that came with it. Time will tell? Good chrome inside of the carrier key and bolt recess. It was staked on all sides, but not properly staked completely on all sides. I will stake the top like we did in the military.

Weak staking

My key staking was both weak and off center of the screw head. MP marking on bolt is laser etched. In hindsight, I should have just bought a Microbest brand carrier.
