The Rubber City Armory Titanium Bolt Carrier Group features a Titanium carrier, to provide an entire assembly that weighs in at 7.8oz. The M16 profile carrier allows the piece to interface with standard AR-15 or M16 components. The Titanium carrier features a proprietary aerospace nitride coating, which allows for superior durability and wear resistance not otherwise found on Titanium components. Bolt is machined from 9310 steel and the billet gas key is properly staked & torqued. Tool steel extractor and cam pin ensure proper function.

SPECS: Fits standard AR-15/M16 rifles. Carrier is machined from Titanium Weight - 7.8oz.

Great Light Weight BCG

I purchased this as an alternative to an Aluminum JP BCG and at 3.3 ounces lighter than a traditional BCG it reduced felt recoil with the adjustable gas block dialed in. I've not yet, but plan to reduce the buffer spring/weight as well to further minimize muzzle climb in 3-gun matches. Very happy with this purchase.

Super Fast BCG

This is a nice product. Definitely a very fast Bolt Carrier Group..super fast firing combined with my Geissele Trigger Group. I did have an over gassing problem however with this bolt operating so fast that it was catching my brass in the receiver before it could clear the ejection port, causing multiple FTE's. I installed an adjustable gas block to prevent the FTE's from the over gassing problem, which also helped with vastly diminished felt recoil. I would NOT recommend this unless you have an adjustable gas block.

BINARY Trigger Users - Notice this!

I'll limit this review to those folks that are looking for a lightweight BCG. The titanium BCG is extremely light. The only downside, I just wish the furnished Bolt assembly was titanium as well (its not). So, if you purchased a BINARY trigger from either FosTech or Franklin Arms (ie Echo Trigger)--you really need to consider purchasing this. The necessity for a ultra, light weight BCG helps in minimizing the cycling/trigger following malfunction condition-- to the point that for my not so fat finger--it eliminates the condition entirely. Its far better than any bump fire set up. So, for the money it is worth it for the better than bump-fire mod factor and overhead. I ended up buying 2.
