Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Very good bcg
It was hard enough to find a good 7.62 BCG but when I stumbled upon this one it worked like a champ. Handles tulammo, wolf and barnel ammo like a pro.
Flawless!
The rifle that this BCG is installed in, ran flawless. No light primer strikes or failure to ejects.
Bolt not MPI marked, good BCG
Needed a MPI BCG for a 7.62 x 39 pistol with Franklin BFS III binary trigger system. The BCG worked flawless even on binary firing. The only concern I had was the bolt wasn't marked MPI. Will get another for a new build I'm currently building.
Great buy
Worked great in Full auto.
Gets the job done!
Purchased this BCG for a budget 7.62x39 build I did from a Davidson Defense upper mated to a PSA lower receiver and it performed beyond my expectations. BCG is well machined, the finish is flawless and the gas key is well staked. Firing pin is the enhanced firing pin so there is no need to replace it. I replaced the hammer spring with a heavy duty one and I havent had a lite primer strike yet and I mainly use Tula Ammo with has the hardest primer on the market. Overall, I am very pleased with this BCG.
Excellent choice for BCG with no failure
I put this into a Stoner upper and used Stoner magazines without any issue or failure. This item works very well.
BCG 7.62x39
BCG in rifle needed replacing. Ordered this BCG, removed from package, placed in gun, took it to my range. Wanted to see how it worked under less than ideal conditions. A hundred flawless rounds later, very pleased. Fit & finish, function very good; and at this price may get another as a put away. ( Yes, then I cleaned it).
Worth every penny, one exception.
Bought this for a sub $400 build in 7.62X39mm when was on sale for $79.99 put it in went to range and was getting 1/20 rounds aproxmently light primer strike. Using tula and wolf steel case ammo and alg mill spec trigger. Swapped out the hammer spring with a wolf heavy duty hammer spring and solved that problem no faiuers since. Steel have enhanced firing pin on stand by but haven't needed it. Probably won't need it too. Now the cool part. My expensive build .223 I have none other then fostech echo trigger in. I'm thinking why not, switch over my upper onto my spikes tactical Jack lower with that echo trigger. Did a mag dump of 30 rounds in echo mode in under 2 seconds it felt like. Needles to say this bolt carrier group performed flawlessly with no failures. The cbc 30 rd Mag I bought from brownells worked flawlessly too. I'd by this again. And you don't have a cool $500 echo trigger like me and want to insure reliability with this bolt carrier group, just pick up a wolf heavy hammer spring. Solved issue case closed. Oh and the nitride finish was flawless. Slicker then phosophate but not as good as nickel boron. I got over 1000 rounds down range now and no failuers since the fixed I mentioned. I been shooting and doing gun modifies since I was 9 and shoot on average 2 plus times a week. So you know that this kind of review isn't coming from average Joe.
Need enhance Firing pin
1 out of 10 runs have lite primer strike for 99.74, another $43. bucks for a pin and now it works. If look You can get a good bolt for 129. with the Enhanced pin.
