M14/M1A REINFORCED QUICK DISCONNECT POST Reviews & Ratings

Reinforced post replaces the front sling swivel stud to provide a more secure attachment point for quick-detach bipods. Two steel plates provide a much greater surface area than the standard swivel post to help ensure a tight hold during heavy recoil and rough handling. One plate fits in the barrel channel, the other on the outside of the stock, and they clamp together with a steel Allen head screw and threaded swivel stud. Can be permanently bedded in the stock for added support. Accepts all bipods that mount to the standard sling swivel stud.

SPECS: Steel, Parkerized, matte black. 17?16" (3.7cm) long x Ѕ" (1.3cm) wide. .6oz. (17g) weight. Drilling of stock required; instructions included.

Reinforced QD Post

This was easy to install. It probably took less than a half an hour to complete. The mount is very secure and works perfectly. I would recommend it. My stock is wood so you don't want to be in a hurry and make sure the fit is firm.

Well-engineered and well-made part

This is a very well-engineered technical solution and a very well-made part. This part is the perfect technical solution for mounting a sling swivel for mounting a Harris bipod on my Springfield Armory M1A Socom 16. I called Sadlak Industries with a question on this and ended up talking with Michael Sadlak himself! The man knows his stuff and has a passion for his craft. All of his stuff is well thought out and first rate.

Installed on National Match M1A

Follow Mike's instructions and you will not have any problems. I installed this on a Springfield M1A National Match Walnut Stock over a year a go. It is a solid mount. Sadlak makes excellent parts for the M14 family.
