Works good
The tool for the job. This wrench fits the common size gas system. If your rifle is a late model with larger size Sadlak will exchange tool and pay return shipping.
Not for your M1-A
This tool is extremely well made made and looks like it will last a lifetime, BUT - Brownells, you'd be doing your customers a great favor by advising in your catalog that this will NOT fit the cast gas cylinder of the SA M1-A. Sadlak is willing to do the right thing and exchange this tool for the proper tool (Part No. 140112) at no charge. All the purchaser need do is return the unused and undamaged wrench to them at the buyer's expense and they will ship the proper wrench. Kudos to Sadlak Industries. Shame on you Brownells. You might consider stocking the larger wrench and warning customers that the standard wrench will not fit cast gas cylinders.
Outstanding
Sadlak has made a wonderful tool to use. It doesn't mar the rifles finish, fits perfectly, and has a hole made for holding the gas piston for cleaning (again with out marring it). One of the best tools I've purchased.
QUALITY .
This wrench fit perfectly, it did not scratch or mar the rifle's finish. It was easy to use and is comfortable to use. Made out of thick lightweight aluminum it will stand up to a lifetime of use as long as you don't abuse it. worth every penny I paid for it.
This wrench will not fit all gas blocks
Just as an FYI Sadlak makes two different models of this wrench. The one listed for sale here will work with rifles that have GI forged gas blocks. If you have a late model rifle made by Springfield armory, with a cast gas block, this wrench will not fit over the gas block without enlarging the holes on this tool. Sadlak makes a different model of this wrench with larger openings that will fit over the cast gas blocks used by Springfield Armory, but nowhere is that stated in this ad.
m1-a gas cylinder wrench
did not fit. too small. had to use dremel tool to open up so it would fit .
