Get the full accuracy potential from your M1 Carbine by replacing its handguard with a reliable, CNC-machined mount for extended eye relief scopes, red dot, reflex, and laser sights, or tactical accessories. Full length, low profile rail uses 1913 Picatinny pattern; provides excellent stability and allows wide field of view for fast target acquisition. Dual, high-strength, steel clamps secure mount to barrel, forward of the gas block. No need to remove standard issue iron sights and will not interfere with case ejection. Synthetic and Israel Arms International stocks may require minor inletting in the forend to accommodate clamps. Will not fit Universal brand carbines. SPECS: Mount - 6061-T6 aluminum, hard anodized, matte black.
8-1/6' (20.5cm) long. Clamps - 4140 steel, matte blue. Fits
standard, G.I. pattern, M1 carbines without alteration. May require
minor stock inletting on synthetic and I.A.I. stocks. Will not fit

Awesome Mount

My 1943 National Postal Meter carbine looks awesome with a scope mounted. And I shoot it so much better. Got it and installed it yesterday. Easy install.

Great addition to my M1 carbine

The optic rail worked perfectly. Very well machined and went on my inland division M1 carbine with ease. Im very pleased with this product.

Super simple to install and easy to line up. Perfect for putting optics or a red dot on an old reliable platform. Basically brings the M1 Carbine up to modern modular capabilities. I mounted a reflex sight and offset flashlight on my trusty M1 Carbine. Also holds zero really well and hasnt moved in 800 rounds. There are really no negatives about this product!

I installed one of these on a '44 Underwood and mounted a compact red dot, which augmented a Williams 5D. It's also equipped with a Choate pistol grip fixed stock. This combination of accessories are the best thing that have happened to a GI Carbine. Between them, they have enhanced the little gun's accuracy to a highly impressive level. Loaded with high-performance JSPs, I actually carried it on patrol until my agency finally issued M4s...and I was not undergunned. It also wowed the other members of the MTU where I worked. I have ordered another Choate stock, and backordered the Ultimak, for a newly acquired '44 Inland. I have another identical red dot waiting for Brownell's to get the Ultimak back in stock. This railed handguard is a simple installation but will require a bit of inletting so that the clamps and screw clear the inside of your stock, especially if it is synthetic. The piece clamps on securely and mine has not moved since installed. Buy and use this handguard/mount; you won't regret it.

Mounted a Burris Fast Fire II on my M1 Carbine with this mount and I absolutely love it! Just the addition of the handguard tightened my group size with the open sights, I'm assuming due to an improved barrel vibration situation. This mount would be great with pistol or scout scope, red dot sight or laser. I'm looking at a Sightmark green laser as it's the only one with an offset mount that I can find. Could possibly use the open sights with this laser but i'm not sure. I know it can be used with the Burris. Love this mount.Shot a one inch group at 100 yards.
