Holosun LS221G
Just got my Holosun LS221G delivered Friday 28 June 2019. I would have say that I was impressed with the packaging & contents included with the laser unit. Handling of the laser unit, it felt solid and although it's BUDGET-friendly, it's NOT at all CHEAP in it's construction. I have seen negative comments/reviews from other customers that have purchased this unit from other vendors regarding the rubber cover that slips over the laser(s). I can POSITIVELY say that currently, the cover is absolutely great!! There's NO PROBLEM at all. Compared to the higher end laser units, this unit is adequately priced, functions, performs & mounts to any picatinny rail without difficulty. The owners manual is easy to read and understand. Best of all, a CR123 battery is INCLUDED in the package. The QD mount LOCKS/secures the laser unit to the picatinny rail. The INCLUDED Torx tool can be used to adjust the tension screw on the QD mount. The "Pelican" like case that the laser unit/accessories/manual/lens cloth was absolutely solid. My package was delivered via AIR/Ground, the container was under pressure/vacuum upon delivery. Perhaps a RELIEF valve can be incorporated to prevent pressure/vacuum build-up in the case. Don't forget to REGISTER your unit with Holosun in the event you have a warranty claim/repair. I do have to say that the remote cable switch provided can be of BETTER quality. Perhaps IMPROVE the velcro tape OR provide an assortment of Velcro tape sizes to accommodate different firearm platforms. Most like to switch from AR rifle to AR pistol platforms, for example. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and look forward to putting this laser unit through it's paces at the range.
