Bright sight picture
Have these fiber optic sights on 4 pistols. With aging eyes this sight combinations makes alignment easier and far more clear. I can't praise these more.
Great rear sight
I bought this for my Ruger SR1911, I only installed the rear sight and it was very easy to make it fit on the gun. I am very pleased with this rear sight, it works very good for me at the shooting range. I was very surprised that it was delivered with 2 front sights, one at.160" and the other at .205"
Very good
I bought this just for the rear sight to use on my Ruger SR1911, I have been shooting 2 times with it and I feel very pleased with it. As with most of gun parts this was not a drop in part, but it was very easy to make it fit.
replacement "Novak Cut" sights on Dan W.
The two-dot fixed, "Novak Cut" sights on many of the excellent Dan Wesson pistols are not very usable by many. Replacing sights on Valkyrie DW 9mm (Commander length slide) was difficult (because the factory sight seems welded to slide) but the SPF42NK fits nicely. At the LPA's lowest adjustment, the factory front sight is too short, so the right one of the two included front sights needs to be installed. Firesights from Williams Gun Sight are brighter, but not available for "Novak Cut." Not sure that the SPF42NK is still listed by LPA on their site.
Low quality front sight
The rear sight was ok. Front sight is made small (so they can be made faster) then they staked the dovetail with a punch to make it "not to small". The resulting sight wants to go in crooked. Required filing to get it in straight. The result was not as tight as i would have liked. The paint on these sights is cheap and i would not get a punch anywhere near them. Product was usable but for $120 i expected higher quality.
