Colt LPK for most authentic clone
Great LPK from Colt, got it on sale even doe its still pricey compared to other high Quality LPKs. When building a FBI regional Clone its only right to use the right parts and no half stepping. As far as quality goes you know you are getting the best, each part individually packed in its colt bag.
Flawless fit
Yeah, it's pretty pricey. Got everything listed, though, and the parts fit into place flawlessly, as one would expect. I've been burned by budget LPKs before, but this was one of the easiest assemblies I've done
IT'S COLT!!!... Whatever...Take my money
I have assembled many Lowers for myself. I put my money were my mouth is in saying after 2 years I am now just making this review because I am finding myself building another lower. I did not have any "Fitting Required" issues, lucky with Lower having every hole perfect? Maybe but if your running a high dollar build last thing on your mind is fidgeting. I experienced none. The parts have a "Colt color Coating" which is aesthetically pleasing and helps almost as a lub during install. I only use Aeroshell 33MS for builds to work in the parts. The rifle with this particular LPK was hands down smooth from the get go, and I don't think It needed much of any lub. I do not like the price but hey it's " COLT!!! " whatever...I still payed whatever... hopes this helps your swallowing while your thinking about the other $60 LPK you just looked at as you hit the CHECKOUT!!!
Good quality
The parts are for the standard AR15 riffle not the Colt big holes and best of all, each part comes packed separately unlike the accessories kit where they all come in one bag and parts scratch each other. There are many Brownells baggies to rip open but it's worth it because the parts are flawless!
Save your money and go with another kit
Well, the truth is I had other kit on back order from another manufacturer. After waiting a few weeks I just couldn't wait. Colt is the benchmark, but nothing in this kit has any association as being a "Colt" product. Just a bunch of Brownells bags with parts. With that point, at $150+ dollars it was missing parts and had doubles of other (thank god I bought my own trigger unit!)
