The picture shows a squared look to the hook. Its rounded more for the sdv. Other than that works great. S&W should have done it this way to begin with.

Nice Clean-up
Really cleaned up the look of the gun, and no more obnoxious painted loaded indicator in my sights.
Spot on fit
Nice Spot on fit, and low enough not to notice unless your looking, but high enough to feel when you pick up your S&W Did it myself and it took all of ten minutes, most of that time was setting up the work space, if you do it yourself, be mindful of the small spring under the LCI. Recommend for anyone wanting to get rid of that factory LCI with its snow white warning letters.
Apex Rocks!
This did exactly what I expected. The stock LCI just stuck up too far(Got in the way of the front sight a little when trying to aim). The Apex low profile one functions just like a LCI should but only sticks up about 1/16 inch. Way better now.
