Great upgrade for 870
Ive used these in benelli shotguns for competition but where this thing really shines is as an upgrade for the ridiculous Remington plastic factory follower. I have an 18 870 tactical with the factory +2 extension (6+1) and the factory follower would bind up at the fifth round jamming on the lip of the extension. I replaced it with the Nordic follower and a Nordic spring and the loading and feeding are smooth and trouble free. No this doesnt have the grooves for the stock magazine tube dimples but the guy that left a one star review because of that shouldnt have. Most people use these with extensions and you have to flatten or drill out the dimples for even the factory follower if you want to hold extra rounds. Dont hesitate to modify your tube and use this follower. Its an easy modification and worth the trouble. Also get the Nordic spring and cut it so that its free length is 14 longer than the full length of the tube and extension. Its a far better spring and worthwhile if youre already tearing the gun down to change the follower.
They fit KelTec KSG
They fit the Kel-Tec KSG shotgun, both with the original springs as well as with the Wolff 65165 6A 12 GA. XP Mag tube springs. Just don't forget you need to order two of each.
fits Benelli Supernova
Nice upgrade from stock follower. Oddly, the Nordic site says that it does not fit the SN, but it fits perfectly.
Worked as Advertised
This follower fit my Benelli M2 Tactical perfectly and was easy to install. So far, no jams or feeding problems, and it seems to function more smoothly than OEM. Would recommend and buy again.
Will Not Fit FN SLP Shotguns
Even though it is not stated in the description, this part will not work in the FN SLP family of shotguns. The slight extension that is stamped 'made in the usa' will interfere with the lifter.
Does not work with 870 Express
This will not fit a Remington 870 Express without modifying the magazine tube. There is no notches down the side like the factory follower.
Save your money
Does not fit my Ithaca model 37. Useless to me.
Don't waste your time
This product plain out stinks. Too long, wrong dimensions, gets jammed, reduces mag capacity. Save yourself the hassle and buy the Brownells stainless slotted follower.
Terrible product
Nothing about this product is good. First of all, the description is wrong. The 20 gauge follower I recieved had a green finish not a red, not that it really matters. The first problem with this follower is its too long. Using this follower reduced my magazine capacity by 1 shell. The bigger problem is that loading the magazine with this follower goes smoothly the first time but as soon as you empty the magazine the follower gets jammed at the end. The follower is not tapered enough and requires serious force to unjam for additional reloads. I wouldn't reccomend this product to my worst enemy.
