Locking Block, 3-Pin Reviews & Ratings
Flaking nickel finish
Replaced a worn locking block on my early gen 3 34 during parts upgrade. Within 300 rounds the nickel started flaking and bubbling up on contact points of the block. Contacted Glock tech and they advised its normal for the nickel to flake off and is there for corrosion and wear resistance, not a functional issue. No function issues but already looks worse than my 20 year old very used part and certainly limited in intended nickel finish purpose. Glock needs to improve their finish or parts prep, or change to a different and more robust coating. Only option available or Id buy something else.
