Purchased directly from mfg several years ago, never once regretted it. Once set, this saves a ton of time. I put mine in a drill press and ran it hard, never let me down and always did the job. A game changer of sorts.

Little Crow Trimmer
Great for trimming a couple hundred cases quickly. It cuts off a neck reference. You need to be consistent with you neck bump. I find it to be-/+.002. That works for me. I have individual cutters for three different calibers. I have the standard steel cutting bit. It takes some time to get the length correct so once I set the caliber, I leave it alone. They make a unit that accepts numerous caliber bushings. You would save on $$ but have to reset the depth over and over.

Best trimmer ever
Just set it up and get busy. Easy as that. I’ve been using one of these for my 223 rounds for years. Always consistent results. Now I’m into making 308 Winchester rounds and expect the same quality.

Way better than the Lee case trimmer
Got this after messing around with the Lee deluxe case trimmer fitted to a cordless driver. That device left horrible neck walls. The WFT is orders of magnitude better. My cases have been beautiful 100% of the time after trimming with the wft. There is no comparison, the little crow wft is the way to go.
Fastest trimmer I've used
Trimmer works great, very sharp cutters, easy to adjust. Great for the final trim on converted 223 brass.
Great
Makes trimming a large number of cases easy. I think this is a great solution if you already have a drill press, mill or want to chuck it into a hand-held drill. The hand-held drill is slower because you need one hand for the drill. If you reload a lot for five or six rifle calibers I might look into some of the high end trimmers that trim, chamfer and deburr all in one step. By the time you get several of these for different calibers and a powered case prep machine you are almost to the price of a high end solution that will do all these at once.
Quick to use, works well
It trims quickly and cuts very clean with minimal deburring needed. It's fairly consistent too with +/- 0.001" from the ones I measured. I do reset the cases and run them again to square it up, but the case mouths are still a tiny bit out of square. I doubt it makes a difference for bullet seating once the inside is chamfered and it could well be the press and dies making the shoulder slightly lopsided. I use it with a regular handheld power drill and my only complaint is that brass shavings sometimes collect in the bushing and can make it trim inconsistently. Handling the cases carefully helps keep the chips from falling into the bushing, but sometimes I just have to clean it with a swab. I'd imagine a drill press would solve that.

This is my second purchase. I recently bought one for 223, after dealing with a couple thousand without one, & I love it. It's a no brainer to me, simple and consistent. Bought this for 7mm08, and truly liked that it also works with the rest of the .308 family. Just getting ahead of the game this time.
