Not the worst gun finish
I've used this finish for several guns, a 1911, Desert Eagle, Rem 700, Black powder muzzle loader, Single Six, and AR mags. When you do your prep work right, this finish is tough. Especially when you put it on over park., the finish is nearly indestructible. I don't know what the other reviewer did wrong, but when done correctly, blue painters tape will not pull off. Make sure you really degrease your parts good. I clean & degrease at least 3 times before applying finish. Sometimes more, if you are putting over park. And all finishes, including this one, does show holster wear after a while. Some may take longer to show wear than others, but all do.
So far so good
I agree with the other gentleman about proper prep work. I degrease between each step before spraying and have not had any problems with the earth brown. Lays down nice and evenly. I've done several guns with this now and have yet to have any peeling or other issues. It's fairly tough too. I got a bad batch of OD green and decided to do some testing before blasting and refinishing. I dragged a screwdriver across it and although it did show it didn't go thru the finish. The only thing I found that would go down to the metal was sand paper. It's harder to blast back to metal than the factory finish is. Overall I think it's pretty good stuff.

Don't expect this finish to last only good for looks maybe. Basically wrecked my upper and lower now I have to reblast them, what a pain. DO NOT USE ON INTERNALS. Prepped better than advised to raw, mixed 4:1, pre heated parts to 100f, laid down with airbrush fine, oven cured for 30 at 300f rest 30 between coats, let rest 24hrs b4 assembly. Finish flaked off immediately at charge handle catch, inside receivers at all contact points even at take down and pivot pins.

Absolute garbage. I would have given this 0 stars if that were an option. I bought my first can and it was a "bad batch" according to the Brownells finish expert. Customer service had no problem sending another at no charge, but guess what, I guess they sent another from the same junk batch. Here I am am with a customer who was promised perfection at 6pm on friday and no customer service to answer the phone. Bet if I placed an order someone would be there to take my money though. The finish itself comes out with yellow spots, similar to a robins egg. The spots are also raised in the finish so if the color doesn't stand out enough, the "3D" effect certainly will. Every other color I got laid down fine, so it's not an error on my part. Bottom line, don't waste your money on this stuff, especially if your making your paycheck spraying it. It only takes one upset customer to ruin your business. I work hard for my money I expect the next guy to work even harder to get mine. Brownells really dropped the ball on this one.
Teflon Moly
Worst finish EVER!!!!! Nothing sticks to teflon, and this teflon will not stick to anything. Followed instructions to the letter, even sand blasted my parts. Blue Painters tape pulled this finish right off my gun. Get the KG Gunkote
