Inside the waistband holster combines easy concealment and secure, all-day comfort. Durable, yet breathable saddle leather backing panel rests against the body, with a supple Napa leather outer covering that makes it easy to tuck your shirt smoothly over the holster. Rugged Kydex® holster pocket holds its shape and maintains a snug grasp on the gun. Spring steel clips attach the holster to your belt and let you set the carry height and angle you prefer.

Definitely worth it
I have used this holster for well over 4 years of everyday, all day use and it definitely earned its keep. I carry a XD9 and it fits perfect.

One of the best EDC holsters I have own
Galco has been around forever which is one of the reasons I purchased this holster. From LEO duty gear to civilian holsters. My original one that I purchased about 6(?) years ago started to develop a crack in the Kydex just above the sight channel. I shipped it back to Galco and they completely reconditioned my holster using a newer designed and much thicker Kydex holster. You cant beat that for customer service. There are other holster companies out there, just have to ask how long are they going to be in business and what kind of return/repair policy they have today, and more importantly when you need them when something fails down the road.

wipes safty off when holsering gun
The piece of leather protruding from the top of the holster is angled about perfectly to wipe off the safety of a 1911 when re-holstering the gun. I don't trust the design.
