XX-Large Lock Box for vehicle storage

I bought the XXL version and it fits everything I need it to. Handgun, knife, wallet, and cell phone. Just be cautious putting something near the lock itself. Cable is strong and lock box is heavy enough to smash someone in the face with... if necessary. My state law requires this and nothing would be worse than getting your firearm stolen from a vehicle. I considered buying a cheap 100% Chinesium model from Amazon or spending way more money on a Vaultek, but this SnapSafe lock box is reasonable and fine for most lawful purposes.

Safe transport of firearm for protection

The safe way to keep a gun in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. Also legal in many states. Very comforting if you ever become stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Works Good

Product arrived in a not so timely fashion, over 7 days, new as advertised. i ordered 3 of these, they were on sale. my car glove box does not lock, i wanted a good way to leave it secured, in the vehicle. i think it's a bit heavier than it needs to be, it is easy to use. the cable is easy to apply and my full sized 1911 barely squeezes in there but NO optic [see my picture]. i think they should add is come kind of marking on the lock so you can see at a glance if the key is in the 'open' position, or not. i took my dremel tool and cut a couple of 'hash' marks on there for that purpose [see my picture].
