Easy Installation - Reduces Trigger Pull
Installed the kit on my Model 60 Pro. Easy installation - if you are comfortable removing your side plate you can do this. The whole job took less than 15 minutes. Reduced trigger pull from 11.4 pound average to a respectable 8.9 pound average using a digital scale and five-pull average. It makes the gun much more shootable - especially in DA. I put 200 rounds through it so far (mix of reloads and factory) with no light primer strikes.

Amazing difference!
Amazing difference in trigger pull weight and smoothness. Didn't measure with a trigger scale, but a very noticeable change. Watch their video, use the right tools, and it is very easy to swap out. Take the time to polish the rebound slide back and bottom while its out, as well. Compared my gun with springs to an identical 637 without and the difference is amazing. Student in my CCW class could not easily nor accurately pull double action with her 637 but she was able to fire mine very accurately and quickly. She asked about the difference right away and for someone not experienced in firearms to comment speaks volumes. Excellent investment for the money!

Excellent Upgrade
Have installed a half dozen or so of these to date. About to order 3 more. Customers are astounded at the difference it makes. Easy install and huge improvement.

S&W J-frame carry spring kit.
Spring kit was easy to install but the double action pull weight was a little disappointing at 9lbs. 10oz.! A friend with arthritis still could not fire the pistol in double action configuration. Conversely, the single action pull was measured at 2 lbs. 8 oz. A little light unless much practice to be familiar in a tense situation!

Overall good product!
I installed this on a 642 that I have had for over 10 years. I had been looking to make this purchase for a few months & finally got around to doing it. It made a noticeable difference in the trigger pull! Before the install I put the gun on a digital Lyman trigger pull gage (max pull weight of 12 lbs) and I never could get it to register b/c the pull weight was so heavy which tells me that it was at least 12 lbs. After install the trigger pull weight came in consistently at 9 lbs 4 oz with a much smoother pull. YouTube has several videos that are very helpful with walking you through the breakdown of the revolver, what springs to remove, pitfalls to avoid, install of the new springs, and reassembly & function testing. The one I found most helpful was a video by Hammer Striker. It took me less than 30 minutes to complete the work. Quick tip: use a properly sized screwdriver when removing the screws on the side plate, it will save you a lot of headache! I gave the product a 4/5 only b/c I had about 3 light primer strikes on a box of Speer Lawman practice ammo (ammo that has a reputation for hard primers). I then ran 50 rounds of Speer Gold Dot duty ammo though the gun and had zero malfunctions! I will be shooting more rounds through it soon to make sure these springs do not affect the overall reliability of the gun. This has been my first experience installing Apex products. I am pleased with the ease of installing the parts & the quality of their product. I will be looking into purchasing their other offerings for my M&P Shield.

.333 Batting Average
Bought the spring kit for my new S&W 442. I channeled my inner armorer since being out of the army for nearly 19 years. After installing the new springs, I went to the range to test it out. I had 4 misfires in the first box of 50 cartridges that I shot through it, and the trigger would not return on it's own after being shot. I talked to S&W, who gladly mailed me new OEM main and rebound springs after I unsuccessfully tried to find my originals. Looks like I will be developing a stronger trigger finger.
