Nice Update
I bought these as an alternative to the straight line loading strips, just to try out. I'm happy with them so far. They are a little bulkier, but I can reload the cylinder all at once, which, IMO, is a plus. They won't replace my speed loader strips, but are a nice option.

I'm not so speedy yet
I got the 2 pack speedloader and one of them seemed a little more flexible than the other right out of the package. I believe I will get much quicker with it with more practice as I've never tried any before. They seem to work just fine and the alignment of the ammo to my cylinder is very good!

They’re Grrrrrrreat
These speed loaders work great if you have a little 5 shot S&W.
Takes a little practice
Takes a little practice to get used to it, but lower profile than other speed loaders.
Works
Nice way to reload. I’m not a professional by any means but these are a functional way to load cylinder. Also smaller than standard speed loader and fit is perfect on my j-frames.
Nice lightweight speed loaders
I just recently seen an article about J-Clips speed loaders and I never heard of them before. Ive carried a S&W 49 my whole career as a back up, off duty weapon and I always carry two speed strips with me. Ive tried Comp II before which also work well but they are little heavy in pockets plus they didnt work well with my wood grips. I purchased a set of J-Clips speed loaders to try them out and I found them light weight and very usable for its intended purpose. After a little practice I find them faster than speed strips, plus they do work with older S&W wood target grips because of the octagon shape of the speed loader. Already recommended them to another j-frame carrier.
Slick
Smart, lightweight and perfect 4 everyday carry. Its rare to find a solution to the shooters game that is so stripped down, minimalistic and effective. Great product,
Finally- a great speedloader for J frame
Finally, a speed loader that is perfect for concelled carry. I have been waiting for a speed loader made lick this for a long time. I have used about all of them and these are the best by far. THANK YOU ZETA
Cheap, no frills, and does the job
My girlfriend recently received a J-frame S&W 642 5 round in .38 with (nothing else) as a gift from her father. I wanted to get her some carry accessories (something to hold spare rounds so they aren't rattling around in a pocket or purse) and was on a tight budget with a goal of "something is better than nothing." I saw some videos on YouTube explaining how revolver speed loaders work and what to watch out for. It seems like even the pros that use expensive speed loaders all have to train around the same issues, eg. lining up the rounds on insertion and fumbling / dropping rounds. It's sturdy and holds the rounds tight, but it's also bendy so lining up a reload takes some time. I would definitely not recommend this for wad cutters or any flat nosed projectiles. There are rubber grips on her 642 but they don't interfere. They may interfere with a full size speed loader but I haven't tested it yet. For $9.00 it does the job as intended and it's faster than trying to reload single rounds. It feels durable and the texture is shiny and more slippery than I expected. It's not straight up rubber. It feels more like a cross between rubber and plastic, more on the plastic side, so it shouldn't fall apart for a long time. You won't have to worry about rounds falling out of it in a pocket or purse, it holds them tight, until you get a good bend into it. You'll want to bend it to reload it as well. No springs, no action, no moving parts to fail or jam. From what I'm seeing, if you want to go as cheap as possible with a spring powered speed loader you're going to have nothing but problems and failures. For the money and my intended use it's 5 stars. LEOs, Security, and other duty-carriers using this for their backup piece may want something else, but you also may be pleasantly surprised. I also bought a pack of the ZETA INDUSTRIES J-STRIP 5-SHOT SPEEDLOADERS for the same price which may work out better being that they have a slim profile, take less fumbling to get 2 rounds into the cylinder at once, and would probably work out better for wad cutters.
Hard to Strip Free
I wanted to like these 5-shot speedloader strips, seemed like such a good idea. They are easy enough to load/reload, easier than moon clips for certain. They are easy enough to align with the cylinder, about the same as moon clips. That's where similarities end. Moon clips drop right in and you are good to go. You need to strip the J-clip off the cartridges at this point. That is just too difficult to justify the extra bulk in your pocket. I ended up using them like 2, 2, 1 strips. I think you are much better off carrying a couple of less bulky 2, 2, 1 strips.
