BROWNELLS IRON SIGHT SLIDES FOR GLOCK 48
With a Brownells Front Cut Slide for the Glock® 48 installed, you'll find your Glock® becomes easier to operate without any change in its reliability. The G48 greatest strength is that it lets you carry a thin pistol with 10rounds of centerfire punch in an compact EDC package. As a bonus this slide will also fit on you G43x and 43 with the correct G48 barrel, converting your ultra compact to a ultra thin long slide version.
Our Front Cut Slide gives you more grasping surface on your Glock® 48 by adding deep-cut serrations at the front of the slide. This is a big help when making a quick press check of the chamber. Both the front and rear serrations have crisp 90-degree edges that give you excellent purchase, and they're cut to the same depth as the factory grooves - so there's no compromise of the slide's overall strength.
We also offer the Front Cut Slide for Glock® 48 in a "window" configuration with a window cut in the top of the slide ahead of the ejection port. This aids in barrel cooling, slightly reduces the weight of the slide for faster cycling, and…well, it just looks cool, too.

The Front Cut Slide for Glock® 48 comes with a factory rear sight dovetail and slot for the front sight tenon. It will accept both factory "iron" (actually, plastic) sights and any aftermarket sights that fit the factory cuts. You will need to retain your pistol's existing barrel (or an aftermarket upgrade) and recoil guide / spring assembly, firing pin assembly, extractor, extractor depressor plunger & spring assembly, firing pin safety & spring, and your back plate. The G48 slide does not require a firing pin channel liner.
