I have reloaded thousands of rounds, rifle and pistol, multiple calibers. I have RCBS and Hornady powder dispensers, both very accurate. I use single stage and progressive presses. Got a set of Lee dies and a scoop came with it. I laughed, gotta be kidding me. But then I tried it when working up a load. Multiple powders, multiple weights for each powder so I tried it. So fast! Normally changing to different weights of powders would have taken a lot of time to calibrate on the dispenser, or worse to clear a dispenser and change to a different powder. To load 5 rounds, using these scoops is remarkably fast: dump a scoop of powder onto a balance beam scale, trickle in a few more grains (or remove a few) and you are done in no time and ready to move onto another weight or powder..Where have you been all of these years? I bought a whole set and love them!
Very handy, multiple uses
I bought a set of these scoops to have on hand, and I gotta tell you, theyre pretty dang handy. They come with a slide chart with just about every type of powder out there, telling you what each scoop will give you in grains approximately, including black powder and pyrodex. And theyre pretty darn accurate and repeatable, if youre consistent. I use these to work up loads to get to my desired weight quicker, and I also use them to trickle up. These things will last forever and They just plain work!
Good for measuring "Fine" powders
I have several old school Lee die sets in the red containers that each came with one of these measures. I dismissed them as ridiculous and never used them until....I was given some old W620 and H110 powders. I attempted to use my "auto disk" powder measure. The grains were so small that they sifted through the cracks and jammed the sliding disks. I resorted to trying the "scoop" just to get a couple of test rounds. If you follow the instructions and run the scoop through once and don't pack the powder it gave remarkably accurate and repeatable loads. I bought the set to have access to more loads. I'll keep them around once the powder is gone and who knows I may need them again.

I enjoy this product, and I use these scoops to measure powder before weighing it on my Lee scale. It gets me close, but i always seem to want something in between two sizes... All in all, if you are reloading cheaply, this is a good way to grab your powder before weighing it.
