IDPA/IPSC TARGET STANDS Reviews & Ratings

Compact, lightweight construction for easy use. Rigid steel channels accept nominal 1" x 2" furring strips to support your target. Units are stackable to minimize storage space and decrease setup time. Approximately 18½" wide to fit all standard IPSC targets. Extra deep channels provide added target leg support. Standard model features two adjustable thumbscrews that provide a tight hold on the furring strips, and welded steel outriggers with two holes each for anchoring the stand with ground spikes. Folding model folds flat for even easier storage and transport. Drive-In model features a 10" long heavy-duty steel spike with a 2" x 2" square striking head for driving into the ground with your foot or a hammer.

super product at a reasonable price

Actually, got more than what I expected. Pictures made it look like center strap was flat bar, ended up being angle iron. Very good design. And didn't realize it had thumb screws to hold wood in. Well worth the $$. Have already ordered more.

Good Stuff

This is my fourth one, I got these to replace my homemade pvc target stands. I bought these over a couple of years and they have all been well built sturdy stands. I really enjoy how compact they are and easy they are to store. I just need to remember to either stake them down or sandbag them as they blow over with a cardboard IPSC target stapled to the sticks.

Solid portable stand

Great durable stand for the price. Easy to set up and lightweight. Perfect to use with Triumph bleeding targets.

Excellent

Simple to use. They're solid, well designed, well made and and work great. Just drive them into the ground and they stand up to wind. No multiple spikes and assembly to deal with.

works well

The swivel arm makes this unit very portable but you do give up some support and wind resistance. I drilled holes in the arm to use spikes for some additional support - the manufacturer should do this up front. I have 3 and can use different length 1x2's for great multiple target practice.

Be cautious before ordering

I've had 2 of these for a couple years now and they are great. Good construction, lightweight, and easy to use. However, I just purchased my 3rd one and its not even close to the same as my older ones. The quality is terrible. The edges are rough to the point of almost needing gloves to handle and the stand is uneven to the point that it is wobbly. Worst of all, the welds look like they were done by a C level student in high school shop class. One of the welds was even broke! Its too much of a hassle to return so I'll just JW Weld the split weld and regulate this stand to a back up. If they do their QC correctly and the finishing is completed, then this is a great stand for the price. However, if they continue to skip the QC and the welding continues to be this terrible, then I wouldn't recommend this stand. 3 Stars because my first two were great and worth 5 stars but my 3rd one which I just received is only worth 1 star.
