HS403B is a 20mm micro sight designed for rifle and carbine applications. HS403B features Holosun’s Red Super LED with 50k hour battery life, 10 daylight and 2 night vision compatible reticle intensity settings. Its housing is made from 6061 aluminum and includes both a lower 1/3 co-witness mount (1.63”) and a low mount (.75”) for low-comb height rifle applications.

Additional features include Shake Awake technology, digital buttons for setting changes, rubber lens covers, and a side-mounted battery tray for the 2032 battery. HS403B is a versatile sight for users of all levels.

FEATURES:

Shake Awake™

Shake Awake Technology is a standard feature on all current model Holosun optics and serves to extend battery life by deactivating the optic’s LED while not in use. A highly sensitive motion sensor works to detect motion keeping the LED powered on during use. This allows for duty or concealed carry with seamless operation throughout your day or shift. At the end of your day or shift when your firearm is stored, the motion sensor will detect a motionlessness state and after 10 minutes (default setting) Shake Awake Technology powers the LED off until motion is again detected. Shake Awake offers settings from 10 minutes to 12 hours depending on the model and can be deactivated altogether if preferred. The slightest touch of the optic instantly reactivates the LED so your Holosun optic is ready when needed.

Multilayer Reflective Glass

Holosun’s use of Grade 5 Titanium in certain Elite category optics and laser devices results in unparalleled strength and durability. Holosun Grade 5 Titanium has more than double the tensile strength and has five-times the fatigue strength of 7075 Aluminum. Grade 5 Titanium is also able to withstand the corrosiveness of seawater making Holosun Titanium model optics and lasers suitable for use in maritime environments.

Great optic that doesn't bust a budget

Easy to mount. Holds zero on my 12.5" 6.5 Grendel. Clear glass and easy to adjust brightness level. It's not an Aimpoint T2 but at 1/8th the cost it will do pig.

Affordable and worth more

I had this optic on an MCK just for the affordability and was impressed what my money got me. The glass is great and the optic holds zero effortless. It sights in easy when setting up and the rail mount is solid. If you’re looking for a budget friendly optic for a rifle or carbine this does the job easy.

Great so far

I LIKE THIS SIGHT. I like its compactness. W/ the low mount it looks right on the pistol-not bulky like some sights. Mounted on a 22 target pistol Mounts nicely on Picatinny & most optics bases, but not all. Had to slighty open (file) the slots on my older Buckmark Target model rail (no problem-a few swipes with a 5/32 round file. --- Adjusted zero precisely & is holding. Bright enough dot on sunny day-on higher settings -- - 600 rounds so far if this sight holds up, I will be very happy. Advice?: When mounting, dont try, initially-one time-all at once, to tighten things up to hold forever. Just snug it nicely onto the base then re-snug occasionally while shooting. Most times things seem to settle in after a few re-snugs - then stay without any over-torque-ing or loctite. Certainly no gunsmith here just my 2 - YMMV -- -- -- -- Wingdings Capital J

Holosun 403B

Very good, light weight and economical option. This is the Holosun 403b This one is going on a turkey gun with a second going on a 18" shotgun. The sight is extremely light weight. The dot is of decent clarity with minimal distortion. On par with a Trijicon MRO as far as the red dot clarity, but costing 300 dollars less. I cant comment on the durability as I do not plan on torture testing mine. It does have a lifetime warranty. The one downside is the battery location. it fits in a little tray and is secured in place by two small screws. They do provide you a second tray and a small screwdriver in the box. Additionally, it comes with a high and low mount. Overall great value for the price. This is one of the optics nutnfancy raves about on youtube if you want to check that out.
