Great multi use product

I use these for several jobs around my shop and this size works well when cut to smaller sizes for smaller calibers. I highly recommend these patches.

new favorite Patches

I've tried a few of these after running out of the twill patches I had been using, and I'm sold. Nice texture, they hold together, are pretty much lint free. Can't ask for more.

May remove rifling

Bought a bag of these to try out on my magnum revolvers. I put them to use the same day I got 'em. Put a little Isso bore paste and some Hoppes #9 on the patch and got to scrubbing the bore of my 44. In about 4 passes it was removing large chunks of lead from the bore. For a minute I thought I might have removed some rifling. They're so freaking heavy duty you'd think you were using course sandpaper. Bore was bright and shiny in half the time it usually takes. Do suggest using a light soft cloth patch afterwards with a touch of CLP to wrap things up before you restow your firearm. Great product from Brownells.

Quality patches!!!

These patches filled my need for something to clean my .45 caliber BPCR bores without doubling up on patches. One side is very coarse for removing fouling, the other side very absorbant for liquid cleaners for final bore protection. There is really nothing like them. As long as Brownell's carries them I'll be buying them!!!

something so simple

I have used so many patches in 50 years of shooting and these are the best I have ever used they hold tons of solvent and fit the bore really tidht and no lint .great product

Good Patches

Good thick patches. Rough side for heavy fouling, smooth side for solvent, etc. Perfect for .270 using TCS O-Ring jag. The edges do unravel a bit.

Not lint free

These are NOT lint free. They are heavy, but in my opinion do not do as good a job as regular white cotton patches. I use mine for cleaning shotguns.

Thinner than before

Have been purchasing this patch number for several years and have always been happy with the quality. However I noticed the last batch of patches were thinner with noticeably less pile than the previous ones.

I would not recommend this product

These patches come apart and leave threads behind. The material is good for cleaning, but they fray and leave behind material in the barrel.

Do not buy

The patches are very loose weave. The jag pokes though the middle most of the time. Large threads fall of from handling and in the bore.
