Great finish stone
Nice packaging kept the stones protected.
Solid packaging
I’m impressed with the amount of effort Brownells put into keeping these little delicate sticks safe during shipping. And of course it works just as advertised.
Worth the money
I've been using a set of these stones for over a year now and they help me make good guns into guns that are right. I use them from radiusing sharp edges to cleaning up poor machining marks in tight areas. Biggest use has been in smoothing and polishing AR15 triggers. They remove material smoothly and consistent, stones show very little ware and are maintaining their flats.
Great all around stones
Use this stone set at all stages of buliding 1911's. They cut slow, but that's a good thing because its really hard to put metal back.....and they leave a near-mirror finish.
Broke it!
It was working fine on a trigger job. Then just broke in my hand, into two equal size pieces. Don't feel that I was pressing hard enough to warrant failure.....Be careful with this if you buy it. Fragile!!
