A small worthy upgrade
Got it for my G19 Gen 5. Great filler for a couple multiple uses. Takes a minute or less to put together and into your Glock. If youre reading this, i recommend getting it.
Good Gadget
Works very well to interchange back straps. I still like a regular punch for disassembly but these work just fine on the range. So far there have been no problems at all.
Great
I put this on my gen5 g45. Fits perfectly and comes off with ease when you take it off. No issues with it.
Must have accessory
I couldn't be happier. Perfect fit in my Gen 4 19. The plug sits flush with the standard magazine plate and the takedown tool pops out easy, but has great retention. Will buy for any future Glocks.
Neat Little Tool
This is a nice little tool that looks great once installed. It complements the lines of the pistol well. It makes a very attractive cover for the hole in the grip. However, I had a few issues with it. First, there are no directions for installation but thankfully it is easy to figure out. Second, it is difficult to see which tool fits when a backplate is attached to the grip but that is easy to figure out, too. In examining both tools under a strong light source, I did find a very faint "B" on the tool for use with the backstraps. Third, I happened to find this on the TangoDown web site: "Note: NOT intended for daily use. This tool is intended for emergency situations only. Overuse may cause wear." Keeping for "emergency situations" seems to limit its intended use severely but once warned, one can use it appropriately. So use a standard punch for regular disassembly.
Good Tool Gadget
This was easy to install and take off of the grip. The magazine base plate seems to run flush with the tool which is good. I want to point out, depending on certain magazines, it may touch the tool and cause it to not drop freely. I was using PMag and it was not dropping freely and though I had an issue with the mag or with the mag catch. I eventually found that the base plate of the PMag was a little extended on the rear causing it to touch the tool and not allowing the mag to drop freely. I compared the mag base plate with the OEM Glock mag and saw that base plate was not as extended as the PMag. The Glock mag dropped freely without any issue.
