Works with Larue MBT-2 trigger

I like to shoot PCCs on steel at closer ranges where 5.56 is not safe. I pretty much run the Larue mbt-2 trigger. Its not the lightest but its a decent trigger made well. Most of the AR-9 bolts will not reset with the MBT. Macon armory was adding material to ar-9 bolt bottoms via welding for a while on request to allow them to reset with mbt-2s. These FM bolts reset the mbt-2s with no modification. About 2000 rounds through a frankenbuild ar-9 - dead blow buffer- with this bolt and the Larue mbt-2 trigger with zero problems. I know thats not a lot compared to some. Besides that the bolt seems well made and I like its machined angles. . Im sure it will suffer short firing pin life like all of the blowback bolts do.

Great bolt. Will not work with an auto sear.

In general, this bolt is fantastic, especially for the price. It functions in semi auto like a champ. No failures whatsoever. Unfortunately, I bought it to use in a registered machine gun. It is not full auto capable.

High quality AR 9mm bolt

This is the high quality AR 9mm bolt that fits perfectly on my old Colt Sporter LightWeight with minimum modification such as removing magazine blocks, replacing a standard bolt lock, and then purchasing a new EndoMag 10/30 magazine. I shot 50 rounds with no issue, and it looks better too. Other brands either did not fit or required to change the new hammer and remove the sear block.

Great Product for a Lesser Cost

Im using this with my AR-9 upper built, the finished of the product is superb showing its high quality. Since I used it I never experience any malfunction connected with the bolt carrier.

Better PCC BCG

Replaced United Defense bolt in AR-9 and eliminated bolt jamming rounds in chamber problems - a better overall design wrt round pick up and ejection too.

Very Nice Quality, Why Pat More

I am no engineer but the 9mm bolt seems simpler than a 556 bolt and those seem to cost less than most 9mm bolts. The FM bolt is does not skimp on fit and finish. I used this on my 2nd 9mm AR for Glock mags and tried the JP 9mm spring. Once you pop out the weight this functions perfectly with this system. Very happy with results using this bolt and magpul mags.

Great bolt

This Bolt is awesome! I would rate FM mike as outstanding quality bolt and if you have any issues they are John on the spot to answer question and take care of the issue. I got this bolt and have put hundreds of rounds down range my a little over 1000. I have been shooting it for a year now in a PCC shooting IDPA with there handguard and barrel. Built upper would have been the way to go. I wish I would have gotten one of their lowers and spikes lowers are not great with bolt hold open... waiting for their 45acp lowers to come out now to build 45acp PCC or pistol not sure yet which one. Thanks for a great product!
